HOW TO USE PROTECTIC 225:
Use DC REVERSE ONLY Thoroughly cleanse the joint area. With very heavy sections over
3/8″, preheat to 500°F prior to welding. Holding the electrode vertical to the base
metal and maintaining a short arc gap move the electrode at rapid travel rate, about twice the speed of mild steel electrodes, using
circular beads or weave technique. Seal each crater by back whipping.
